This year our theme is “Rafting the Rapids of Church”. One of the things that I have experienced my whole life, is the different seasons that a church can go through. Some churches may go through a beautiful growing season while others go through a season of turmoil. Some churches go through seasons of change while others have a season of challenge. Some may even go through a season healing. To get through any of these seasons, it takes a special strength.

Bill Putman has spent his career planting and assisting churches in the Northwestern Pacific states. As a re- tired minister and evangelist, he has a passion for the local church. He’s dedicated his retirement years to helping churches who are experiences crisis, conflict, or change. His lifetime of experience, wise counsel, and practical ministry gives him the credentials to address the theme of the Big Opportunities Conference “Rafting the Rapids of Church”. In addition to his regional work, he has also worked with his son Jim Putman and has been a part of the incredible story of the Real Life Ministries Christian Church in Post Falls, Idaho. Real Life Ministries has grown from just a handful of people to over 8,000 in their worship attendance in the past 10 years. EXIT Off of 90E:
Exit 528 Thompson/Madison
Turn towards Thompson off the exit. You will go 4 miles. You will pass St. Joseph Vineyard. Once you pass that (which is on your right) you will be coming up to MOSELEY RD. You will turn LEFT. (The road sign is on the right, none on the left.) Go to the stop sign and turn right on Ledge (Moseley will make a jog) then you will turn LEFT again onto MOSELEY. Go through the next stop sign (after you stop) and BLUE ROCK WILL BE DOWN THAT ROAD. Turn Left into Blue Rock.
